I believe that our timing is always right.

One thing about me is that I LOVE to do things… which is how I’ve ended up with a million jobs. All of which I truly enjoy, but being so busy leaves little time for creativity. Creativity needs time and space to grow and it cannot flourish in a mind that’s constantly being stimulated by task after task.

So, over the last month or so, I’ve started taking things off my plate and like magic my creative mind is spinning again. I have lists and excel sheets of all the dreams I have for my business and how I can improve the ways I support other businesses.

And it feels so good that I wonder why I didn’t do it sooner! Which is a trap I think we all might get into sometimes- wishing we would’ve known what we know sooner. How can we blame ourselves for not knowing a lesson we haven’t learned yet?

I’ve learned this lesson at the perfect time. Exactly when I was meant to.

What I’ve Been Writing

“Imagine you’re at dinner with your best friends, splitting a dessert, savoring each and every bite of that delicious [insert your favorite dessert here] and you feel only peace and gratitude for this moment in time.

Maybe you even close your eyes and let the gravity of the experience pull you into such contentment that you have to consciously pull yourself out of it.

After years and endless energy spent dieting and trying to shrink your body, you’re able to enjoy a dessert with your best friends without considering the calories. You’re happy- but that doesn’t quite cover it. No, you’re not just happy.

You’re free.”

30 Minute Power Ease Yoga Session

In this class I share a passage from Journey to the Heart by Melody Beattie. It’s about presence and knowing that you are exactly where you need to be every step of the way.

It feels in line with the lesson I've been learning all summer. That when I need to know, I will know.

I think it's a universal truth that we, as people, want to know everything. We want to know what's next and even what's after that! When I don't know something that I believe I should know, I feel like I’m behind, I’m not doing enough, or I’m not good enough.

I encourage you to consider that when you need to know, you will know. And that if you don't know yet, you simply are not meant to.
